根据《烟草制品控制法》B.E. 2560（2017）第5条第1款和第38条第1款颁布的《卫生部关于素面香烟包装的部长条例（MR）B.E. 2561（2018）》，泰国素面香烟包装法现已于2019年9月9日生效。泰国是亚洲第一个、世界第11个采取该措施的国家。
