How to check the status of your Chinese trademark?
Step 1. Visiting the official website of CTMO (URL：http://sbj.cnipa.gov.cn/), and clicking the “商标查询” (Trademark Search) button to access trademark database (without sign up).
Step 2. Going into the trademark database, we could see these major functions: “商标近似查询”(Trademark Conflict Search), “商标综合查询”(Trademark General Search), “商标状态查询”(Trademark Status Search), “商标公告查询”(Trademark Notices Search), “错误信息反馈”(Mistake Information Feedback), “商品/服务项目”(Goods Items and Classes).
Step 3. If you want to track your trademark status in real time, you could click the “商标状态查询 (Trademark Status Search) ” button and fill your trademark application or registration number in the blank box below.
It should be noted that the trademark data will be typed in 2-3 months, in other words, there is a blank period of 2-3 months (also known as blind search period) of the data query. After this duration, we could search the trademark information and track the trademark status in the CTMO trademark database.
