缅甸商标局将于2019年12月20日通过“试运行”的方式开启工作
缅甸商标局将于2019年12月20日通过“试运行”的方式启动工作，在“试运行”期间，只接受已在缅甸注册的商标注册人的申请。缅甸商标局将以“试运行”的方式运作3-4个月。在此期间，所有现有的商标注册人都需要根据新法律重新提交商标注册申请，新法律将为注册商标提供10年的保护，之后每10年续展一次。
THE TRADEMARK OFFICE of MYANMAR is anticipated to start on 20th December 2019 through a “SOFT OPENING”. During the “SOFT OPENING” period, Trademark Office will accept applications only from the registrants who have existing registrations in Myanmar. Trademark Office will operate under the term “SOFT OPENING” for nearly 3-4 months. During the said “SOFT OPENING” period, all existing registrant need to re-file the application for Trademark registration under the new law, which will provide protection for a period of ten (10) Years and subsequently be renewed for each Ten (10) Years.
官方收费标准还没有正式公布，但预计会在50美元到125美元之间，一旦官方费用公布，我们将会更新消息。
Official fee has yet not been notified but same is expected to be in the range of $50 USD to $125 USD, will update as soon as official fees are notified.
若要在“试运行期”内重新提交申请，必须随附缅甸注册局签发的文件和已提交的使用声明，以确保先前的注册，并附上经缅甸领事馆合法认可的授权书。
To re-file an application during the “SOFT PERIOD”, application must be accompanied with the documents issued by The Myanmar Registration Office and Declaration of USE as filed to secure the previous registration, along with the POA duly legalized by the Consulate of Myanmar.
我们建议在此期间尽快重新提交申请，以维护缅甸知识产权的优先注册和保护。
We will recommend to re-file the application at the earliest possible, in order to maintain the priority, registration and protection of IP rights in Myanmar.
