China Trademark Office Slashes Charges for Trademark Registration
The Trademark Office of the Administration for Industry and Commerce of China recently posted on its official website a notice of reducing its charging standards for trademark registration etc. by 50% from April 1, 2017, details of which are as follows:

The above measure is part of the Chinese government’s effort to facilitate mass entrepreneurship and innovation and deepen reforms of the business system. In addition, the Trademark Office recently issued a series of measures in succession to set up trademark application windows nationwide, establish collaborative examination centers outside Beijing, enable electronic trademark registration, and simplify trademark application materials and procedures.
